What is Binary Option?

A binary option, asset or nothing option, is a type of option in which the payoff is structured to be either a fixed amount of compensation if the option expires in the money or nothing at all if the option expires out of the money.  Binary options are a simple way to trade price fluctuations in multiple global markets, but a trader needs to understand the risks and rewards of these often misunderstood instruments.

To be able to trade in Binary option you need to have a broker and this is were the problem begins because many binary option brokers have been exposed as having questionable operations.  With such binary option brokers, there is no real brokerage; You, the customer is betting against the broker, who is acting as a bucket shop.  Manipulation of price data to cause customers to lose is common. Withdrawals are regularly stalled or refused by such operations.

Is binary option a scam?

The binary option itself is not a scam but it is those questionable brokers that makes it a scam.  This brokers have several ways to entice you in investing your hard earned money with them but at the end, when you want to withdraw your money you'll find yourself hitting a brick wall as this brokers will give you bunch of legal issues or other reasons for you not to be able to withdraw your money  or prolonged the withdrawal process to frustrate you.

In the Internet you'll see lots of advertisement enticing you to become rich in just a few months or a few years, some would say you can earn more from home with this or you can quit your job in a few months after investing, some advertisement talks about automatically earning money thru binary option bots who will automatically trade your money on your behalf, claims that you will earn money even as you sleep and claims that you'll become a millionaire if you invest with them. sound too good to be true?  Hold your horses and think twice.  It is far from the truth and reality. Usually these are their routine:

1. They will point you thru to a sign up page where they will require that you register with your name, email ID and mobile phone.
2. Then, they will bring you to the page of the broker for you to invest a minimum amount of $250.00 thru your credit card.  After 5 minutes had passed by if you do not invest someone will call you from the broker and introduce himself as your accounts manager, will entice you even further to convince you to invest the $250.00 min.  Whatever you do, do not invest your money because it's the last you will see of it, if you do you will see your funds with the broker company gradually being depleted
3. When your balance with the broker company is very less, someone will call you from the broker company (again your account manager) will ask you what help do you need to grow your investment and will convince you again to top up you funds.  The account manager will tell you that they are there to help you grow your investment.  That's funny because aren't they working for the broker, the broker is paying this people (so called accounts manager) to make you invest and loose more money.
4. Now, to entice you even further your account manager will give you a bonus money ranging from 10% to 200% of your investment but there's a catch there, for you to be able to withdraw that money you must have been able to play, bet or use that money 50 times or more than its value for you to even be able to en-cash it.
5. Now, that is if you will be able to en-cash it, because when the withdrawal time comes you'll see that your request for withdrawal will be denied due to legal issues, technical issues, etc. etc.

Can I really earn money from binary option?

No you can not.  Binary option is just another type of gambling.  so if you are a normal regular guy who earn a normal regular paycheck my advise to you is forget about binary options and turn to something else.  You will not earn money in binary option.  What you will earn is the thrill of you watching and anticipating a win or a loose from a trade and headache because at the end of the day you suddenly realize that you have just lost your money.  So don't go there.

The information above is not extensive, I am not an expert in binary option but I am just talking from experience and I am writing this to warn everyone out there so that they don't make the same mistake I did.
